Answers to the most common questions from fashion brands sourcing women's outerwear from China — MOQ, sampling timelines, certifications, and production specs.
Ordering & MOQ
200 pieces per style per colorway for all outerwear categories — wool coats, cashmere blends, down jackets, blazers, and quilted outerwear. Mixed sizes within a style are accepted toward the MOQ.
For first-time brand partners we occasionally accept trial runs of 100–150 pieces on select in-stock styles at a small-quantity premium. Contact us with your style details and we will advise whether a trial run is feasible for your specific design.
We work with both. Roughly a third of our clients are emerging brands ordering 200–500 pieces per style. Our production structure does not require large-enterprise volumes to access the full service — tech pack development, sampling, quality control, and compliance documentation are available at all order sizes.
Sampling & Development
First samples are ready in 25–35 days from tech pack approval and sample deposit. Each revision round takes approximately 7–10 days. Up to 3 revision rounds are included. Most clients reach final sample approval within 2–3 rounds.
Yes. Our in-house tech team builds complete tech packs from design sketches, mood boards, or reference garments — including CAD flat sketches, graded size spec sheets, bill of materials, stitching specifications, and care label requirements. Tech pack delivery is 7–10 business days.
Our ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) service gives you access to our seasonal lookbook of original outerwear styles. You choose silhouettes, fabrics, and details; we produce exclusively under your label. Full exclusivity within your market is granted on confirmed styles. Brand labelling, hangtags, and custom packaging are included.
Certifications & Compliance
Yes. JX Apparel Group keeps BSCI audit documentation for buyer due diligence. BSCI covers social compliance areas such as labour standards, health and safety, and factory management practices.
The public certification set is BSCI, GRS, and OCS. GRS certificate GCL-303456-GRS-2026 and OCS certificate GCL-303456-OCS-2026 are downloadable on the Certifications page.
Yes. Qualified buyers can request the relevant factory audit and order documentation during sourcing review. For certified material claims, the required shipment-level documents should be confirmed before bulk production.
Production & Lead Times
Standard bulk production lead time is 60–90 days from sample approval and production deposit (purchase order confirmed). The exact timeline depends on fabric sourcing — domestic Zhejiang fabrics are typically available within 2 weeks; Italian wool or cashmere from Inner Mongolia may add 2–3 weeks.
JX Apparel currently produces more than 400,000 garments annually and has annual capacity of up to 500,000 garments. The factory team includes 100+ trained production staff across development, sampling, cutting, sewing, finishing, and inspection workflows.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), FOB (Free On Board from Ningbo or Shanghai), and EXW (Ex Works from our Jiaxing facility) are all available. We can also coordinate with your nominated freight forwarder.
Products & Fabrics
Wool and cashmere blend coats, down-filled jackets and parkas, technical and waterproof outerwear, longline blazers and suit jackets, quilted and padded outerwear. All styles available in standard women's sizing; extended sizing available on request.
Primary fabric sourcing is from China's domestic market (Zhejiang, Jiangsu). For premium wovens we source from wool mills in Biella, Italy. Cashmere is sourced from certified suppliers in Inner Mongolia. Technical performance fabrics come from specialist mills across East Asia.
JX Apparel Group is based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China — a garment manufacturing hub with convenient access to Shanghai and Ningbo. Facility-size details are not published on the website.
